There may well be those of you who couldn’t describe yourselves as happy campers. If a weekend in a tent isn’t your idea of fun, fear not. You have options. They’re limited though, so you’ll probably need to act quickly.

There are two B&Bs in Stratton Audley and plenty of hotels in the local town of Bicester, scarcely three miles away.

You may find it tricky to get taxis to take you back to Bicester late at night, but try Clifford at ACA Cars on 07967 313 101, who in times past has often saved us from a weary walk home in the wee hours.
